14 Signs Your Perfectionism Has Gotten Out of Control and
The Psychology of Comparison and How to Stop. I think that these two articles are applicable not only in writing, but in life. While I did relate to all of the "14 Signs," in the Perfectionism post, I still related to many of them. I also really enjoyed the Comparison article because I think it is something that our generation is particularly engulfed by. Recently, I have been shown various articles that connect the rise in social media to the rise of depression and suicide in teens and young adults. The tips outlined in this article seem like they would be very helpful in combatting the need to compare, especially on social media. When receiving feedback, I want to focus on not being overly sensitive or afraid of failure and also focusing on my own work, not comparing my stories with my classmates' stories.
