Reading Notes: Ramayana D
Ravana and Lakshmana
- Lakshmana has just killed Ravana's son, and Ravana wants revenge
- Ravana throws a dart and hits Lakshmana in the heart
- Rama believes his brother is dead, and wants to join him
- Rama said a very beautiful quote about brotherly love, and that Lakshmana is best of all brothers and greatest of all heroes
- Loyal Hanuman races back to the Himalayas to retrieve medicine for Lakshmana
- A doctor makes a paste and heals Lakshmana just in time
- The final lines explain what is happening with the rest of the battle: the ape army is gaining ground and destroying bits of the city along the way
*This week for my reading notes I wanted to focus strictly on plot and characters. I thought that a bullet-point list would be the most effective note-taking method for this goal.
