Week 8 Comments and Feedback
Comments and Feedback
Feedback In: I have appreciated the feedback I've received on my work. The most helpful comments are those that offer new ideas or ask for clarification. One issue I've run into in my feedback is that a lot of people comment the same thing. In one way, that's helpful because it confirms that there is an issue, but it also prevents me from learning even more.
Feedback Out: When I give feedback, I try my best to be encouraging yet also to challenge the writer. I like to comment on overall plot and then narrow it down to specific areas I was confused about.
Blog Comments: Reading my classmates' introductions and stories is my favorite assignment each week. The introductions show the personalities of each student and gives a good idea of their point of view. Writing my introduction was a lot of fun, so I hope that everyone else has had as much fun reading it as I had writing it.
Looking Forward: As I continue my reading and commenting of others' stories, I want to make sure that my feedback is clear and useful. I hope that my feedback has been and will continue to be useful as we write, edit, and revise our stories.
